CLM Engineering Associates

CLM is a multi-faceted engineering firm. We were established in 2010 by Craig L. Moskowitz after spending more than 14 years working for other consulting engineering firms, construction management organizations, builders and general contractors. In addition, he honed his leadership skills while serving as an engineering officer in the United States Army, National Guard and Reserves thereby commanding more than 100 soldiers at any point-in-time.

Construction Management

In terms of construction management, the firm has tracked the progress of various residences in on behalf of some of the largest financial institutions in the country as part of a mortgage loan monitoring process. In addition, we have managed the quality assurance/management process for large-scale residential developments in both Connecticut and New Jersey.

Forensic Investigations

In terms of forensic investigations, the company has performed extensive investigations on behalf of our insurance company clients for storms events such as Hurricane Sandy, Irene, several winter storm events, structural issues subsequent to a natural gas explosion, structural reviews after commercial and residential fires, alleged building damage following vehicular impact to a building, and so on. Furthermore, the extent of our work with the legal community includes the evaluation of slips, trips and/or falls, building code compliance issues, construction defects, etc. We have considerable experience in handling cases for both the plaintiff and defense. In fact, our several/favorable recommendations are a testament to the detail involved in our investigations and the quality of our report writing capabilities.


In terms of engineering, the firm has performed structural engineering evaluations of buildings and residences, designed and evaluated retaining walls, foundations and their respective systems, roof capacity calculations for the ability to withstand the weight of mechanical components of retail shopping center clients and several other concentrated work efforts.
